[ How it works ]
How Wickpad works
Holders make the call. The keeper takes it. Wins burn the coin.
@wickpad[ A round ]
15 minutes to vote. 15 minutes in the market.
- A round is one 15-minute Up/Down window on Polymarket. Round number = the window's start in Unix time ÷ 900, so every coin's round locks at the same moment.
- Votes close one minute before the window opens. Votes for 14:30 to 14:45 are taken from 14:14 until the lock at 14:29.
- Holders vote Up or Down on the coin page by signing a message with their wallet. Free, no gas.
- 1 wallet, 1 vote. The wallet must hold at least 100,000 coins (0.01% of the supply) when it votes and again at the lock. A new vote in the same round replaces the old one.
- At the lock, the simple majority of valid votes is the call. A tie, or fewer than 3 valid votes, means no position that round.
[ The keeper ]
The majority calls it. The keeper takes it.
- Right after the lock, before the window opens, the team's automated keeper takes the majority side on that window's 15-minute Up/Down market for the coin's crypto on Polymarket. Up or Down is called from the window's opening price.
- Polymarket resolves the market at the window's end on Chainlink's 60-second TWAP: Up if the TWAP over the window is at or above the opening price, Down otherwise. That is Polymarket's own rule.
- $5 to $20 per position, paid from the coin's position pot.
- A win returns the stake to the pot, and all of the profit buys the coin back on-chain and burns it.
- A loss costs only that round's stake.
[ Every fee ]
One trading fee. Four pots.
- 50% position pot: stakes for the rounds.
- 20% buyback and burn: bought back on-chain and burned.
- 20% Wickpad treasury: paid to the team.
- 10% creator: claimable on Rewards.
[ Burns ]
Wins buy the coin back. Every burn is on-chain.
- Buybacks and burns are transactions from the coin's own vault: it buys the coin through Flap and sends it to the dead address. Check every one on BscScan.
[ Control ]
Who controls the money.
- Every fee vault is controlled by the Wickpad team. The team key can withdraw any vault's balance at any time and can upgrade the vault code. This rescue control exists so money can never get stuck, the same idea as Flap's Guardian.
- The position pot leaves BNB Chain: the keeper moves it to the team's Polymarket account on Polygon. Positions and results are run and reported by the team; the contract does not enforce them.
- Votes are signed messages counted by the Wickpad server, not on-chain.
- Buybacks and burns happen on-chain and can be checked on BscScan.
- Creator rewards are claimable on-chain from each coin's own vault. Anyone can trigger a claim; it always pays the creator wallet.
- Wickpad is not affiliated with Polymarket.
[ Risks ]
What can go wrong.
- A coin's price can fall to zero.
- The majority can be wrong. A losing round costs that round's stake.
- You rely on the team: it holds the vault keys, runs the positions and reports the results.
- The team can change the vault code for every coin at once.
- A coin whose rounds draw fewer than 3 valid votes takes no positions; its position pot waits.
- Smart contracts and off-chain services can fail.
